Savosolar has been selected as general contractor to build a 9 MW solar thermal system on behalf of Stadtwerke Lübeck Energie GmbH for its district heating network, which supplies households in the Moisling city district with healthy heating. Only 788 pieces of Savo 16S large scale high performance flat plate collectors are sufficient to getting combined with an 3,000 m³ heat storage tank and produce carbon free heat for the needs of all connected consumers.
Additionally, a PV system will be built on site to generate the electricity consumed by the solar pumps, thus unburdening the local power grid.
The scope of supply includes also all the land works, the construction of a technical building and the supervision system to operate the plant in automatic mode.
Este conjunto de más de 13 000 m2 es la mayor central de energía solar térmica de Francia y el mayor sistema de energía solar térmica de Europa para la producción de calor de procesos industriales. Savosolar ha suministrado la mayor parte de la central de energía solar térmica, incluyendo el campo de colectores, la infraestructura municipal y el sistema de tuberías, así como la planificación y ejecución de la estación de intercambio de calor.
Kyotherm y su filial Kyotherm Solar son compañías inversionistas especializadas en la financiación de proyectos de energía térmica y eficiencia energética para terceros. Kyotherm Solar vende el calor que produce este sistema a una fábrica de secado de malta operada por la compañía Malteries Franco-Suisses.
La energía solar térmica es idónea para el proceso de elaboración de la cerveza, puesto que se utiliza mucha energía, la mayor parte a temperaturas relativamente bajas en varias fases de elaboración.
En la fábrica de cerveza Flecks, situada en Frohnleiten, Austria, se utilizan los colectores de Savosolar como apoyo para la producción de agua caliente. La energía térmica se utiliza, por ejemplo, en la maceración, en la cocción del mosto y en la desinfección de los recipientes de fermentación. La energía solar térmica se almacena en cuatro acumuladores de 3 000 litros para su uso en el proceso. Los colectores están instalados en la pared de la fábrica, de modo que también funcionan como protección contra la lluvia y el sol.
